Refund policy

1. Scope

This policy governs refunds, returns, and replacements for all products purchased from our official website www.zestfoods.in. It applies to all retail packaged spices, seasonings, and related products sold under the brand Agvika Foods Pvt. Ltd.


2. General Principles

  • We strive to deliver only fresh, high-quality products in sealed, tamper-proof packaging.
  • Due to the nature of food items, refunds and returns are restricted to genuine cases such as delivery of wrong, damaged, defective, or spoiled products.
  • All claims must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.

3. Eligibility for Returns & Replacements

A product is eligible for return or replacement if:

  • The product delivered is not the same as ordered.
  • The product packaging is damaged, tampered, or leaking at the time of delivery.
  • The product is spoiled, expired, or defective at the time of delivery.

Non-food items (if sold, e.g., merchandise/accessories):

  • Can be returned or replaced within 10 days of delivery if unused, unopened, and in original packaging.

4. Non-Returnable & Non-Replaceable Items

  • Opened or partially used spice or seasoning packs (unless defect/spoilage confirmed).
  • Items damaged due to improper storage after delivery (moisture, pests, heat, etc.).
  • Discounted, clearance, or promotional products (unless defective).
  • Items returned without valid invoice/order ID.
  • Claims raised after 48 hours of delivery.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds are approved only in the following cases:

  • Wrong product delivered.
  • Product damaged, defective, spoiled, or expired upon delivery.
  • Replacement not possible due to stock unavailability.

Refund Mode & Timeline

  • Refunds are processed only to the original mode of payment.
  • Timeline: 5–7 business days from approval date.

6. Return & Replacement Process

  1. Initiation:

    • Email Support@zestfoods.in within 48 hours of delivery.

    • Provide Order ID, photographs/videos of the product & packaging, and a short description of the issue.

  2. Verification:

    • Our support team will review your request within 2 working days.

  3. Resolution:

    • If eligible, a replacement product will be shipped at no extra cost.

    • If replacement is not possible, a refund will be initiated.

  4. Return Shipping:

    • If the error/defect is from our side (wrong/damaged/defective product), Agvika Foods will bear the return shipping costs.

    • In any other approved case, the customer may need to bear return shipping costs.


7. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund.

  • Once an order is marked Dispatched, cancellation is not possible. Refund/return terms above will apply.


8. Important Notes

  • All refund/return/replacement claims must strictly follow the above timelines and conditions.

  • Agvika Foods reserves the right to reject claims that do not meet policy requirements.

  • The company’s decision on refunds and replacements shall be final and binding.


9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy and any disputes arising out of it shall be governed by the laws of India. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Complaints will be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 working days, in line with the Consumer Protection (E-commerce) Rules and applicable Indian laws.
